Action Research

Action Research is a very important component that can be used in education at all levels. It is something that can be used by the administration or the teachers at every grade level. A lot of times within the business of education you can run into difficult problems that may be hard to solve. I think with the use of Action Research you can take these problems and break them down into components that will make it easier to solve. It allows you to solve the problem yourself instead of requesting help from someone else that may not understand your full situation. It is important to handle tough problems in a timely fashion and not drag your feet hoping someone else will do the work. I think through action research you can bring individuals together as a TEAM to help solve problems. I think this in turn will help to make the overall atmosphere at school one that everyone would want to be a part of and do whatever possible to make it the best school district possible. I firmly believe that the processes that you go through with action research can not only solve difficult problems or situations but also bring everyone within the district together as ONE.
